Almost Google-free

Well, I'm as Google-free as I'm going to get. Only my generic GMail account is left. Everything else is closed. Google support finally saw the light and manually expired my account, putting it in a state where I could (and did) delete it altogether. Beats the heck out of waiting until the end of March 2012.

One more thing off the to-do list. \o/

Don't get me wrong -- I appreciate folks like you who stick around and fight the good fight. I've done my time (starting not long after the GMail launch, with a completely different set of issues), and now it's time for something new. :)
